The Global Forum on sustainable development was held in Rome, Italy, capital of Houses of Parliament, in Rome, Italy, from May 2, 2017 to May 4th.
The meeting was chaired by the co chairman of the Global Forum on sustainable development, Jean-Paul FITOUSSI. The vice president of the house of representatives of Italy, Marina SERENI, and co chairman of the Global Forum on sustainable development, Khalid MALIK, are welcoming. The opening speech was made by the Deputy Secretary of state of the Italy cabinet, Maria Elena BOSCHI.

A keynote speech was delivered on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, innovation and sustainable development.
The second day meeting was held at Lewis University. The deputy secretary-general of the United Nations, Michael, MOLLER and ten scholars, professors and experts, delivered the keynote speech on the business mode, innovation and sustainable development of the head office of the United Nations in Geneva. The third day meeting was held at the conference center of FAO headquarters. The Rene Castro SALAZAR, assistant director general of FAO, gave a welcome speech and addressed the theme of addressing climate change. Sandro GOZI, Secretary General of the United Nations European affairs, Gian Luca GALLETTI, Minister of environment and land and marine protection of Italy, spoke at the meeting. The conference finally held a closing ceremony in the Houses of Parliament in Italy and read the Rome declaration of the 2017 global sustainable development forum.
